Introduction
The Family Planning Field Services Delivery Program started functioning with the existing manpower and infrastructure of the Directorate General of Family Planning. The program is under the development work plan of the year 2003-2006 with GO-NGO collaboration in light of the Bangladesh Population Policy.

Activities
Under HNPSP the FP-FSDP has been undertaking the following activities:

Allocate funds for upgraded UH&FWC’s to install & repair tube- wells, to buy electric equipment and to maintain regular services.

Allocate funds for organizing 8 satellite clinics per union per month.

Ensure supervision and monitoring for proper implementation of field activities.

Fix up projection of condom, oral pill & injectables clients for districts by considering method-mix, reduction of drop-out rate, client category-wise service etc.

Evaluate field activities & progress through supervision, monitoring, MIS report, LMIS report & NIPHP report.

Ensure quality services at UH&FWCs to make them user-friendly.

Strengthen co-ordination and supervision with LIP and other NGOs.

Management and Implementation

The Family Planning Field Services Delivery Program is executing the activities under the direct control of Director General of Family Planning. This program is supervised by Line Director, 2 PMs, 4 DPMs with existing manpower and infrastructure of Directorate General of Family Planning.
